Anyway if you read last weeks Minecraft Monday you will know that I said I would talk a little about Notch, So here's a small bit about the guy behind the whole of Minecraft!
From Wiki: Markus Alexej Persson (commonly known as "Notch") is a Swedish C++, ActionScript, and Java programmer, and is also the founder of Mojang AB. He is currently developing the video game Minecraft.Notch or Markus whatever you want to call him worked for many different game companies including the website king.com making small flash games for them, to be honest it seems like he was destined to create video games after making a text based adventure game at age 8 and wow has he developed an amazing game of his own for himself! He left king.com to create Minecraft and I don't believe he expected the game to be anywhere near as popular as it is right know and it is probable that he never expected to make more than a few thousand from the game in the end!

Now what else did I say I would talk about....Crafting....well it's so important I think I will dedicate a whole post to it so that shall be left till next time I think everyone :)
Currently Minecraft has very little in a way of 'things to do' by this I mean it is open or sandbox where you can do what you want and there is also the little achievement feature which can help guide new players in things to do, but with Notch announcing 'Adventure Mode' to be a major patch in the future it is almost certain that the game will develop even more! currently many people make 'Adventure Maps' where others can play the story that they have created within the Minecraft world following the different notes and tasks to make the game a lot of fun, I think Notch saw these and thought that it would be a great addition to Minecraft and make people enjoy the game even more!
There are lots of places that you can find these adventure maps, if you want to try some just google it! there's plenty of them around to try and test out :) maybe I will try some out and do reviews on them in the future.

P.S. Sorry this weeks is a little empty, not got much time and everything right now, thanks for understanding :)

That's one thing I like about the way Notch handles Minecraft: He looks at popular mods and then makes them official parts of the game. He really listens to the community.
